So this past weekend I actually got quite a bit of cosplay work done. Well.. sort of. More than I got done last time I was home -- which was nothing. There aren't many weekends left before AB and I admit, I'm panicking a lot  little. So I cut out the base of the dress and I'm actually really happy with this pattern. It actually came out the way I wanted it. Usually patterns and I have a conflict with each other. <<

Anyways, so the costume is coming along good so far. *keeps fingers crossed* As for the wig, that was a bigger bitch than I thought. I've dubbed it the Giant Snarl. The antennas were probably the most annoying part. Had to make one over three times. Urg. But I cut the bangs and the side pieces, curled them and so far I'm really, really happy with the look. Yes, it still needs quite a bit of tweeking, but so far so good! Here's a little preview. :3

Also, I bought the wig and the catsuit for my Julia costume. That was a pain as well. << I didn't want to be overly shiny, so here's hoping that I'm not. But all in all, I'm quite happy with my cosplay progress thus far. Hopefully I can keep this momentum going!
